Live Event: “Becoming a Peace Maker” With Rabbi Katy Allen

The volatile presidential election and surprising victory of Donald Trump has sparked divides between families and friends, violence and hateful rhetoric. Many of us are reacting to the world with anger, fear, hopelessness and disgust right now. Overcoming these emotions may seem overwhelming, but it’s possible and necessary.

On Friday, November 18th at 2pm EST/11am PST, Rabbi Katy Allen will present “Becoming a Peace Maker” — a live event on EdenKeeper’s Facebook page.

Rabbi Katy is the founder and spiritual leader of the Jewish congregation, Ma’yan Tikvah — A Wellspring of Hope, president of the Boston-area Jewish Climate Action Network, and founder of One Earth Collaborative. Her work as a “nature chaplain” has helped countless people of all faiths and backgrounds develop a stronger relationship with the Earth.

During the presentation, Rabbi Katy will address our negative emotions associated with the recent presidential election and help us realize our potential as agents of peace. Viewers will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and insights with Rabbi Katy too.

Please join us Friday, November 18th at 11am EST/ 2pm PST.

To watch, simply go to EdenKeeper’s Facebook page. The presentation will broadcast live and viewers can comment.
